Routing to a different smart host (i.e more than one)
Hi, Is there a way (on a Hub Transport) to route outgoing messages, from users in a specific Internal domain name (say domain1.com), to a different smart host? And ALL other Internal domains get routed through the Hub Transport as normal and uneffected? (e.g. domain2.com, domain3.com). Would Transport Rules help? We do not have an Edge Server and currently only have one Send connector to send to one of 3 Smart hosts using an MX record. We want to route internal email (destined for the internet) from users@domain1.com to another Smart host rather that the one we are using currently. Thanks for your help. S.

Hi, It is hard to controle user to use certain connector to send email. If you have serveral hub transport server, then I think you may try to configure smarthost on different hub server and then test. Regards, Xiu

Looks good. In the end we just did all the domains. We wanted to use a test domain to test the smarthost and since we could not do so then, we just did all our domains. Thanks anyway. S.
