Routing Master has been deleted.
I have an Exchange 2007 server that we installed last year. It has not been upgraded to service pack 1 as of yet. I am trying to clean up the server errors so I can run CA Arcserve 12 to back it up. The backups will not run as the agent is unable to enumerate the public folder store and that is only one issue so far. The main reason for this post is I run the BPA against the server and I recieve the following during a health check:Error Routing master has been deleted Routing Group: %domain% The nominated routing group master for routing group '%domain%' has been deleted. This may cause mail flow problems. Server name: CN=%servername%\0ADEL:fb85237c-dc07-439f-a1c6-5072d97ba94f,CN=Servers,CN=%domain%,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=%domain%,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=%domain%,DC=com. Error Cannot connect to port 25 of the routing group master Routing Group: %domain% Server %servername%\0ADEL:fb85237c-dc07-439f-a1c6-5072d97ba94f is a routing group master but a connection to port 25 cannot be established from the workstation where this tool is running. Error Cannot connect to port 691 of the routing group master Routing Group: %domain% Server %servername%\0ADEL:fb85237c-dc07-439f-a1c6-5072d97ba94f is a routing group master but a connection to port 691 cannot be established from the workstation where this tool is running. We upgraded last year from Exchange 5.5 to 2003 then from 2003 to 2007. I believe there was a missed step somewhere when decomissioning the 2003 server. I have been unable to find any more pertinent info on this error. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it as I cannot run online backups or upgrade/update the server. Thank you.

There are no routing group connectors that I can find. I tried the command in step 7 and nothing happened. I don't think I know for certain that I know how to look for this. Thanks

I have it fixed now. I went into ADSIEdit and drilled down into the Configuration>Services>Microsoft_Exchange>Domain>Routing_Groups>Domain area, Brought up the properties for the domain and took out all the distinguished names in there for the three routing groups. Since we only have the single 2007 server I didn't figure it needed those in there. It seems to have fixed the errors. Now only if I can get the backups to run now.
