Routing Group Connector for Non-Default SMTP server
I have installed Exch 2007 but it is not communicating with Exch 2003. I cannot replicate public folders and userson the Exch 03 server cannot email users on the exch 07 server. I think I have narrowed this problem down to a the routing group connectors.. Our Exch 03 server does not use the default SMTP virtual server, a previous employee could only get Exch 03 to send mail by disabling the default SMTP server and creating a new one, Exch 03 has run like this for about 2 years now... My question is... When I look at the properties from the Exch03-exch07 connector it shows the disabled SMTP virtual server as the only server. How do I change the server value to show the correct (non-default smtp virtual server)....From Exch 03 all options are grayed out and I do not know the syntex to use in power shell to change the server Address... (The physical server address is correct but the virtual server is not correct). I have created a new connector using the : New-routinggroupconnector cmdlet but this also used the default SMTP virtual server... Presuming that I cannot get the default SMTP virtual server working (which I cannot).. Does anyone know the syntax to use in powershell to get my servers to communicate. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
