Routing And Remote Access Fails after Exchange 2007 Comp Check Server 2003
Hi All... ok I have an issue which is really starting to bug me regarding RRAS. I have a dedicated server which for roughly a year has been running Routing and Remote Access on Windows Server 2003 without any glitch. The plan was to double up the servers role so it also handles Exchange server 2007 and VPN connections. After installing powershell and then running the Exchange installer just to simply check the compatability of the server and AD etc. my VPN users can no longer connect from outside the building. It now instantly displays an authentication error saying the username/password is incorrect. I have checked all of the settings in Routing and Remote Access and they all seem fine from what i can tell and internally all users with the correct access rights can connect fine. Has anyone else seen or heard anything which may resolve this issue? I dont really want to revert to a backup as I am still going to need to install Exchange fully at some point on this server and restoring from a backup will merely fix it for now without me actually learning anything :-). Thanks in advance GAMe

Hi Thanks for your reply, I have resolved the issue now down to our firewall, our NAT was doing something strange which was blocking access to the VPN server. In light to your previous question it is the x64 version of Server 2003. Thanks again
