Room calendars not showing any calendar data (exchange 2007)
Hello, I have been setting up room mailboxes on our new Exchange 2007 server. I have created these without an issue and they will auto respond to meeting requests and show free/busy time on the schedule a meeting window. The problem I am having is when I try to share their calendars. I have started up outlook with one of the room accounts set as the mail profile and changed the permissions on the calendar. I set Default to "reviewer". What I am getting is that users can open up the calendars for each room account but cannot see any meetings that have been scheduled. These settings work for sharing other normal user's calendars. Thanks Chris

Hi Chris, I am not able to reproduce your issue. Therefore, I suggest you attempt the following method to troubleshoot the issue: 1. I suggest you use PFDavAdmin tool to connect to mailbox Server to double check the calendar permission settings of the Room Mailbox. Please ensure the DACL state is good. For your reference: http://www.msexchange.org/articles/PFDavAdmin-tool-Part1.html 2. Please let me know which Outlook Client used to View Shared Calendar. If it is Outlook 2007 which works in Cached Mode, please uncheck Option Download shared folders (excludes mail folders) and check whether the issue still persists. Tools->Account Settings->More Settings->Advanced tab 3. If the issue still persists after performing above steps, please start Outlook with /safe and /cleanviews switch to clear third party addins and customize View settings. Then, please attempt to access the shared calendar to check whether the issue persists. Mike

Hi Mike, Checked the permissions and they were ok. Unchecked "Download shared folders (excludes mail folders)" and suddenly the calendar items are visible. For info, yes this is with outlook 2007 clients. Thanks for your help. Chris
