Hi Salman, I am not able to reproduce your issue on my lab. Please check whether the steps I performed are same as your problem. 1. Create new Room mailbox and consider the mailbox to auto-accept message request 2. Let UserA send a meeting request to UserB. Let UserB forward the meeting request to the Room mailbox 3. I notice that the Room mailbox accepted the message request and add the meeting to calendar folder of Room mailbox. If the steps are correct, please run following command to check the configuration of the problem room mailbox: Get-mailboxcalendarsettings room |fl Note: Please also let me know whether the room mailbox is migrated from Exchange 2003. Or a new created room mailbox on the Exchange 2007. Mike

Hi Mike,Great to hear from you mike,Well this is what i have done , I have created a room mailbox called Blueroom and have configured it so when users are sending request to room it will be forwarded to delegate users, now command i used was set-mailboxcalendarsettings -identity blueroom -autoprocessing autoaccept -resourcedelegate testuser then i even delegated myself full control on room mailbox and opened through web using my account and opened resource settings for room mailbox i went and changed few configurations and my configuration of room mailbox is below Resource Scheduling Permissions Specify users and groups which have permissions to schedule this resource by sending a meeting request These users can schedule automatically if the resource is available: Everyone Select Users and Groups: M Salman Gilani These users can submit a request for manual approval if the resource is available: Everyone Select Users and Groups: M These users can schedule automatically if the resource is available and can submit a request for manual approval if the resource is unavailable: Everyone Select Users and Groups: M Salman Gilani For requests requiring approval: Always forward to delegates Always tentatively accept these requests Now what is happening , when any user books room i recieve in policy request and i have to manually approve it , if i book this room it gets accept automatically and this is the exact behaviour i require.but on the other hand when i approve request for users I would like this meeting to appear on my calendar since i am delegated resource attendent , when i book meeting as an out-policy it does appear on my calendar , I do not want to open all the rooms calendar seperately to check which meeting rooms are book.Microsoft should consolidate the calendar for all rooms in one account , calendar forwarding or something.I really appreciate your effors Mike.I have been a Certified Trainer for Past five years , but I guess this is something i still need to figure out.with Best Regards,Salman GilaniSenior Systems AdministratorViva Managed services

still waiting to hear from Microsoft specialist on this issue

Hi Salman, Thanks for your response and sorry for delay. Regarding your question why the meeting request in policy is not accepted automatically, I think the issue occurs as the Bookinpolicy has been configured. Therefore, only the request from Salman Gilani will be automatically accepted if the meeting request is in policy. By default, the value should be everyone. BookInPolicy : {Salman Gilani} Regarding the second question, I am afraid that it is default behavior. The meeting item only appears in the room mailboxs calendar folder when the delegate accepted the meeting on behalf of the room. To check room mailbox calendar, you can use Outlook to open mailboxs calendar folder to check the meeting items. Open another person's Calendar, Contacts, or Tasks http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP010217371033.aspx Mike
