Room Mailbox properties missing tabs
I have two room mailboxes created in exchange 2010, but when I look at their properties the window is all of the tabs that a resource should, except a "Resource Information" tab. I was under the impression that there should be additional tabs for a resource: resource general, resource policy, resource information, resource in-policy requests, resource out-of-policy requests. Where do I go to enable these? This all started from a user that was booking one of the resources (a training room) but it was not being accepted. Upon looking into this further, neither of our rooms are accepting the requests, they just show up on the calendar as tentative. If a users cancels it then shows up on the rooms calendar as two appointments (the original request as tentative, and a second booking saying canceled). I was going to try and change the auto-accept for the resource, but I don't even have the tab to do so. I thought this might be a problem with the room being created wrong (and that sure still could be the case). So, I created a new test room and it does not have the tabs either. Is my server missing some component maybe?

This might be something missing with the admin console? What version of Exchange Server? Are you running the Exchange Management Console from a full patched server or management server?Jim McBee - Blog - http://mostlyexchange.blogspot.com

That tab should show up if it was created as a room mailbox. Can you double check? It was set as a room, but the set-mailbox room1 -applymandatoryproperties took care of it! Thank you
