Room Mailbox Information
I am trying to find some in depth information on room mailboxes and there doesn't seem to be much other than how to make one and what not. I am trying to figure out what exactly you can and can't do with one and any other limitations to them. Trying to research using these as a scheduling option for conferences rooms at my business location. Thanks.

Read this 4-part article on resource mailboxes. It is the most in depth one out there that I know of: http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2010/management-administration/resource-mailboxes-exchange-2010-part1.htmlTim Harrington | MVP: Exchange | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010, MCITP: Server 2008, MCTS: OCS | Blog: http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com | Twitter: @twharrington

So we setup a few test room to play around with and I have some other questions. 1. we can book the same times as another meeting in that room and emails go out to everyone. The room declines because it is booked but people can still accept the meeting from their email even if the meeting creator has declined and canceled the meeting. So people can accept after a cancellation and it still goes through. Now the room doesn't show as booked but people will show they are during that time. 2. Is there a way to get it to alert you before even trying to book the room that the times you chose are in conflict?
