Room Mailbox - Problem with Reccurence
When we move our Exchange 2003 resource rooms to Exchange 2007 and convert them to Room Mailboxes, we run into the following problem... The default BookingWindowInDays is 180. The maximum appears to be 1080. Is there an infinite setting? The reason I ask is, 2003 was infinite. Default Outlook recurring meeting settings are also infinite. Do all of our users need to learn how to set End Dates on recurring meetings from now on? Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Matt

If you log on to OWA as the calendar resource mailbox (enable the account), you should be able to just clear that field which would make it limitless.

I just tried that, but I have no idea which field you're referring to? Is it under Options -> Calendar Options? The only relevant settings I see there related to resource scheduling are... Always place new meeting requests tentatively on my calendar Move out-of-date meeting requests and responses to the Deleted Items folder Automatically process requests and responses from external senders Move notifications about forwarded meetings to the Deleted Items folder I don't see anything related to recurring meetings. I would also assume that such configurations would be available in the Shell so that I wouldn't have to log on to every single calendar. Thanks, Matt

also have you tried the set-mailboxcalendarsettings with this switch? EnforceSchedulingHorizon Optional System.Boolean Use the EnforceSchedulingHorizon parameter to specify whether recurring meetings that have an end date beyond the booking window will be rejected.

For a recurrence with no end date, is it possible to have the resourceadd the appointment past the 1080th day. Setting the EnforceTimeHorizon to false seems to let the resource accept, but only through the day 1080. Thanks!
