We recently migrated from Windows Server 2003 to Server 2008 R2 for our Domain Controllers (2) and our NAS. Yesterday we started noticing that when we add users to specific groups so they can access a share on the NAS the group was already in, it would deny that access until we restarted the workstation. Is there something we are missing? What could have happened that caused the AD to not authenticate the user on the fly?
