Rights Manager not working on Exchange 2010 OWA
Good afternoon We have Windows 2003 standard sp2 and SQL 2005 w/sp3– ADRMS-DB Windows 2008 R2 64bit – ADRMS-SRV Setup Exchange 2010 lab Maibox, Hub, and CAS on separate servers. Created Selfssl using IIS 6 Resource Kit. At first and bind it to the default website on the ADRMS-SRV Then created Selfssl using IIS 7 (found this outafter more reading of IIS 7) - Afterwards and bind it to this Selfssl. Install Certificate Authority on the ADRMS-SRV to install CA. The Selfssl works for the Outlook client which would get prompts to login and opens the encrypted email. It doesn’t work for OWA. Can’t open the encrypted email in owa. Try the Set-IRMConfiguration to enable for OWA. Still no good. I try Selfssl from IIS7 and same results. Try the Certificate Authority CA and tested with the test user accounts now get this error from outlook client when try to open the email: The service at Https://adrms-srv.mydomain.com:443/_wmcs/licensing is temporarily unavailable. Ensure that you have connectivity to this server. This error could be caused because you are working offline, your proxy settings are preventing your connection, or you are experiencing intermittent network issues. (mydomain represents the domain created in the lab) If I switch the binding back to the Selfssl get no error. Issue is getting this to work for OWA and getting AD RMS properly to work.
