I know lots of people have weighed on this...but I want to add my voice.  I HATE that this is gone.  And I don't understand why it hasn't already been put back in!  If "clutter" is the answer, bring on the clutter!!  I want Right Click Auto Correct clutter!!!

Please change the contents of a text entry in the AutoCorrect list. For example, in Outlook 2013, you may

  • Click the File tab.
  • Click Options.
  • Click Proofing.
If you are using Outlook, click Mail, and then click Spelling and AutoCorrect.
  • Click AutoCorrect Options.
  • On the AutoCorrect tab, make sure the Replace text as you type check box is selected.
  • Click the entry in the list. It will appear in the Replace box.
  • Type the new entry in the With box.
  • Click Replace.

Please also check the setting is proper under AutoCorrect Options > Tab "Math Autocorrect"

this is not acceptable

up to 2013 one could add an autocorrect entry with a couple clicks (right then left)

now it takes about 8 clicks and typing in the incorrect and the correct entry

this is a major waste of time and effort, and a major step backwards with this important function

Microsoft, put the autocorrect function back to the way it was until Office 2013
