Hi All, Im testing a Retention policy that has only one tag. Type: All other folders in the mailbox Action: Move to Archive after 5days. I've add a test user (user1) to the Retention Policy and enabled the Archive mailbox for that user. Looking from OWA i see that the ArchiveMailbox has been created. But when i right click on an email, I dont see the Archive Policy and Retention Policy with Use Parent Policy checked. For a different test mailbox (user2) when I ran the MailBoxAssistant the mail wes moved to the archive folder. But again I dont see the Archive Policy and Retention Policy with Use Parent Policy checked when right clicking on an email in OWA. Almost a whole day past since I enebled archiving on user1, an the mail arent still moved to the archive. Is there something that Im missing? I dont want to run MailboxAssistant whenever I want to get the emails moved to the archive. Thanks Zarko

Hi Zarko, Go to check the settings on user1: EMC->Recipient Configuration->user properties->Messaging Records Management Make sure the required retention policy has been applied on the mailbox. I don't think you need to run start-managedfolderassistant every time, this command only to process mailboxes apply settings immediately. Without run this command, Exchange also will work with ManagedFolderAssistantSchedule. Thanks, EvanEvan Liu TechNet Community Support
