Retention Policy
Hi, trying to create a retention policy but it doesn't seem to be running for all users. I have created a retention policy tag to "Delete and Allow Recover" for "All other folders in the mailbox" that are 90 days old and then linked a Retention Policy to this and applied to all mailboxes. If I run Start-Managed FolderAssistant and test it for 1 mailbox it deletes all items as expected from Inbox, sent items, etc. The problem is though, I left it overnight so that it will run between 1AM and 9AM but I have came in this morning and it has not deleted any of the mail. Is there anyway to see if it has started or when it will plan to start or if it error'd. I have checked the application log on both mailbox servers and I can't see anything. We have just recently migrated from Exchange 2003 to 2010 so I'm not sure if it maybe looks at a different setting than the "Received" or "Sent" that is visible over outlook and maybe looks at a created in exchange 2010 date in its place? This is the only reason I can think of but can't find anything about it. The test account I used was migrated more than 90 days ago but the full user migration just over 30 days ago. Current setup is Exchange 2010 SP1 RU5 2 Mailbox Servers 2 Client Access/Hub Transport Servers 2 Edge Servers Thanks

There is a mix of cached and not cached. Same issue with both. Outlook and OWA.
