Restriction issue.......
Dear Friend, How can I configure in Exchange 2000 Server, to allow all internal user to receive external email from specified domain only? I would like to allow all internal user that do not have access to external email to be able to receive email from this domain @unilin.com, @quick-step.com and @mohawk.com. I would like to control the receiving of external email due to junk/spam email. If I allow all user to accept any external email, then the possibility of virus infection thru email will increase.

Hi,Please understand that inbound email coming into the Exchange server based on the Address Space and Cost value after SMTP connectors are created. The closely address pace for the domain is the preferred. Thus, you can create the SMTP connector corresponding to each domain which to be allowed. Such as SMTP connector1 with address space unilin.com, SMTP connector2 with address space quick-step.com and so on. Lastly, create a SMTP connector with * address space, under Delivery Restrictions, check "Rejected", click OK.After that, please apply for the below KB to make delivery restriction work:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/279813ThanksAllen
