Restricting Mail Box Owner to Read Only in AD / Exchange 2010
Good Day I have a situation where I need to restrict the owner of a Mailbox to read only. This mail box is only full of the companies Internal contacts, and is to have no access to mail. This account is then to be accessed via Android Devices. As this is not using Outlook, I can not share it as read only, as the andriod devices access it via the direct account. As it stands everything is work perfectly, bar from the fact Staff can change the entries from their Phones Is there a way in AD to restrict the access down. I've seen many articles stating by default Owners (SELF) have full access in exchange, so I am thinking the only solution will be with AD . As this AD account is only used for Contacts, I am happy to break it's other mail functionality.
