Restricting Admin User Access.
Can someone point me in the right direction, there may be a thread on this but I am new here and could not find any 411 while "Searching" your forum. We need to restrict certain privileges for users usingroaming Admin Profiles. You may ask why make them admins and want to restrict access... some of the company software requires admin privileges to access the database and software. So now we have a bunch of admins that are able download whatever they want. We are using windows server2k and primarily xp pro for hosts. Thanks.

Active Directory is used to centrally manage access to servers and workstations. Onemethod to restrict access is to remove most people who don't need to be in the Administrator Group. Create another group and addappropriate users.Add the newgroupto an Active Directory policy and rollout it out to appropriate servers and workstations.
