Restoring a deleted folder from a mailbox dumpster - Exchange 2013

I need to restore all messages from a "Deleted Folder" including all it's subfolders. Using the outlook recovery deleted items function is not an option. I also need to ensure the folder structure remains in tact. I'm not looking to restore from Backups either.

If I use the Search-Mailbox powershell function, with the -SearchDumpsterOnly switch, I am limited to 1000 records and it pulls all data into a single folder, rather than maintaining the existing folder structure.

If I use New-MailboxSearch or New-MailboxExportRequest I don't see a way to limit to the dumpster only. Can someone give me guidance on the command line to use to get the job done here? The folder I need to recover from is "Inbox\Important Data".

Hi,

Its not possible to restore messages with the folder structure from dumpster.

Without using the outlook recovery deleted items function or restoring Mailbox Data from a Recovery Database, you may consider to use other 3rd party tool to restore message.

Best Regards.

So if the information has entered the dumpster alas the folder structure is not maintained :-(, i.e. there is no way to recover that structure once its entered the dumpster only the items are transferred to the dumpster not the structure info.  Only way to do so would be to restore the previous backup via RDB and recover from there or use a 3rd party product like DigiScope
