Resource Scheduling Calendar
Is it possible to have a calendar that reflects scheduled times of rooms? For example, I wantto create a meeting request but first want to look at a calendar that shows when the room is available rather than start the meeting request and look at the "Scheduling Assistant". This would facilitate our front desk clerk being able to schedule conference rooms and resources for those whom are too lazy to do so themselves.

The implementation details of this would be different depending on if you are using E2K3 or E2K7, but if you create a "conference room" mailbox and then configure some type of "auto accept" or "auto schedule" system such as the E2K7 calendar concierge feature that will put all scheduled meetings for the room on to the resource mailbox's Calendar. What you will then need to do is to give the receptionist or front-desk clerk permissions to open that other mailbox's calendar within Outlook (File -> Open -> Other User's Folder). They can then see the appointments for the room resource.
