Resource Room Acceptance Messages

We work with international users, some of whom, unfortunately, do not always understand every word of the English language. Is there any way to modify the entire message of when a resource mailbox accepts a meeting request, and moreover, is there a way to differentiate between whether the meeting request was approved or denied.

Just to be clear, i'm not talking about adding an addendum to the message like shown here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124505%28v=exchg.141%29.aspx, but rather the entire message.

Thanks,

Hi,

Based on my knowledge, we cant change the default format for the entire message about the resource mailbox response.

Personal suggestion, we can use Transport Rule to add specific words for the accepted message and declined message respectively. If you can accept this suggestion as a workaround, we can try the following method:

1. Create a distribution group (Room Group 07 in my testing) for all resource mailboxes.

2. Create the following rule to add YES in the message subject for Accepted message to mention it is accepted:

3. Create the following rule to mark Declined response with NO for room mailbox:

Hope it helps.

Hi Winnie,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll speak to my users to see if this is sufficient, but my inclination is that they wanted to replace the entire message, since people just ignore the Declined message from the Resource. Also, we were possibly looking for an option to even add HTML, so we could, for example, color code the declined message in Bold/Red for example.
