Resource Mailbox Management
I have some resource mailboxes on Ex07 that users seem to bee accessing directly to schedule the resource. ie: they open that resources calendar and create meeting there rather than using their own calendar and inviting the resource. The problem that i'm having i think, is that when they do this it circumvents the AutoAccept/Denial for conflict meetings. Is there a way to stop this? I'd like to make the Calendar folder View Only for all users, but i cant open the mailbox with an outlook client because the AD account is disabled (because its a Resource Mailbox). Is there a way to do this in the Shell? or other solution that would work? FYI, these mailboxes where moved from an Ex03 server a few months ago.

Hello Travis, Give full mailbox permission to your ID on Resource mailbox then you can open it in outlook and when it asks id/password you can give your id/password. In outlook give only Reviewer Permission to default on Calendar. But if users have full mailbox access on Resource Mailbox then they can book the meeting from calendar directly.

Yeah, i thought of that as i was typing the original post. I already have Full Access, and went to the Tools > Account Settings in Outlook 07, and entered the resource mailbox in 'add another mailbox' i wanted to open. It shows up in my folder list, but i get teh error "Cannot Expand the Folder". FYI - When in OWA, i can open the mailbox to adjsut the resource settings and everything else OWA offers.
