Resource (room) mailbox booking issue in exchange 2007 server
We are having exchange 2007 server. And we had set the bookingwindowindays for resource mailboxes as 180 days (6 months). Today, one user has note me that, he is not able to book the resource room more than 90 days (3 months). What could be the reason? Any idea or fix will be much appreciated. ThanksFunnyghost

Well, 180 days is the default. Are you sure it is set to 180 days. Does this command return the information below? Get-MailboxCalendarSettings -id <resource> | List BookingWindowInDays BookingWindowInDays : 180 Could some else have booked the room on a date short after the 90 days?MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M | Small Business Specialist

Strange. What if you as an experiment set the BookingWindowInDays to 365? http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/managing-resource-mailboxes-exchange-server-2007-part2-.htmlMCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M | Small Business Specialist

Not sure whether able to book after 90 days. but issue is after 90 days, free/busy info is not availble.Funnyghost

What do you mean that free/busy information is not available? Does it mean that there is no information in user’s Calendar? Also, please try to book the resource mailbox after 90 days and verify whether the issue is resolved. What do you mean that free/busy information is not available? It shows as like this "////////////////////////////////////////////" As per my Findings, it seems that it is getting published based on the meeting invites we have on our calendar. I also see it for many users.. the F/B is not getting published after March 1st.I hope that should be because the Outlook settings is configured to Publish the F/B info only for 2 months.Funnyghost
