Good day guys, I would like to know and confirm what is the required information when creating a Mailbox at Active Directory Users and Computers or simply on User Accounts on the domain controller it is the Display Name, User Name or Account Name (-samid)? This will be a great help when I export and import users using ldifde, csvde, dsadd, dsmove command for alternative way of restoring Users on Active Directory Users and Computers and Mailboxes on Exchange Server. Thats the minimum requirment. As far as email address goes, that will depend on the email address policy (first name. last name etc). For the display name, its visible in GAL and for the outgoing emails.Account name will be used for loging on to the AD and Mail box.Raj
