Reports for checklist Exchange 2007 SP1
per the kb article bb232186 it references creating reports. I have looked under my exchange management console tool and do not see any of the ones they reference. For example incident reports, create reports on queue use, size and growth. Thanks

Hi jpeevey,There are no such preconfigured reports in EMC (as far as I know). You will have to use your skills to build these reports using EMS or EMC. The article talks about the guidance on what to check and why to check. Probably, that is a documentation bug you might want to raise.M-Milind Naphade

Well, I wouldn't say it's really a documentation bug because it is just a guidelines for IT professional to perform various tasks at regular time-line and it depends how you would like to... "The Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Operations Checklists provide guidelines for IT professionals to perform the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks required to keep your Exchange servers performing optimally." -http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232187.aspx To automate and monitor various things in real-time, you need to deploy MOM 2005 or SCOM 2007 to monitor your Exchange environment efficiently with standard per-defined rules available in terms of Product Management Packs (Exchange management pack for MOM or SCOM) and data will be stored in SQL database for future reviews and reports... However if you want to monitor manually you can find list of counters for Exchange 2007 as per server role in below article... I partially agree with you, Amit. If you take a look at article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232186.aspx(Weekly Operations Checklist) it says, "Use this checklist to create status reports to help with capacity planning, service level agreement (SLA) reviews, and performance analysis.". What it means to me is there is already a tool or a script ready for which a checklist is written. May be because of my poor understanding of English I am not able interpret it correctly. :-)MMilind Naphade
