Reports for Shared Mailboxes and Mailbox Usage - Exchange 2007
Hi, Are there internal or third party reporting capabilities to run usage reports within Exchage 2007? I'm looking for reports such as: List of all Shared Mailboxes with all Users that have permissions List of all Mailboxes with usage statistics (i.e. activity per day, week, month...) Lsit of all Distribution List with usage statistics (i.e. activity per day, week, month...) Thanks

I would suggest checking Quest MessageStats. Itdoes the last two but not for sure about showing who has permissions.

Yes, quest message stats will be definitely worth a look in this case. In addition to mailbox and distribution lists usage statistic this tool can also provide a wide range of reports like email quotas, mailbox and public folders configuration, message sizes. You can take a look at other features at www.questmessagestats.com As for shared mailboxes with all users that have permissions you can try another part of scriptlogic's exchange management solution - a tool called securuty explorer for exchange (www.exchange2007security.com) Take Care, Mark

You can try log parser - that is a microaoft tool. Moreover i will suggest to right some simple powershell scripts for this kind of solution if you u r looking for MS internal. with exchange 2003 i remember there was a tool name MTLA. i didnt try it with exchange 2007.Best Rgds, Ashish | Unified Comunication | MCTS | Please remember to select option "Propose As Answer" if solution work for you.

I posted this a few days ago, for Exchange 2010. I don't have a 2007 environment to test it in, but it might work in 2007. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchange2010/thread/07e6d4b0-33be-4526-969f-361ba3e03d7f Was getting ready to add a routine to add accumulating distribution group usage stats to it, but haven't gotten to it yet.[string](0..33|%{[char][int](46+("686552495351636652556262185355647068516270555358646562655775 0645570").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace " "
