Report of All Emails Sent From a Specific Mailbox
I am using Exchange Server 2003 in FE/BE configuration. I have 2 exchange servers total. I am trying to find all emails sent from a specific mailbox and the create a report that shows Sender, Recepient(s), Date/Time, and Subject. I have message tracking and smtp logging enabled. At this point I am trying to parse through each one of the logs and find a specific string. This is taking to long and Iknow there has to be a better way. Are there tools for this ordoes anyone haveideas on how to do this more efficiently. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your response. However, I am looking for more detailed information and I am using Exchange Server 2003. Mailbox statistics will not generate the level of information I am required to produce. I need specifc details, to include the items listed in my original post.

This is a great resource, thank you. However it still doesn't get me where I need to be. I put in a bunch of manual work to get the report out but don't think it should take that. I am still trying to find something that will allow me to parse the logs, searching for a specific string, and output the data into a tab delimited format so I can export into excel. All I am trying to extract is Sender address, Receipient address, Date/Time, and Subject. I figured that with this information being available in the logs it would be an easy task. So far I have not found the easy way.

You should be able to get some of that data from using logparser on the log files. Some of it you can'tMark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:ES, SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com
