Repeated corruption of PSTs Outlook 2010 vs. IMAP server

We have an iMail server and connect via IMAP from Outlook.  I have a W7 system with Office 2010 installed and every few days or so, it will not connect to the iMail server.  I run scanpst on the two PSTs and then it is fine for another few days or so.  I have numerous other system with W7 and Office 2010 and they are fine.  I have tried a repair install.  Otherwise the system is quite stable and trouble free.

Ideas?

Hi,

Does Scanpst.exe tool find any errors in the PST files? What are these two PSTs? Are they two archive PST files? Basically, IMAP account uses an OST file as the default data file.

Did you get any error message when it failed to connect to the mail server?

Do you have any antivirus software installed? Antivirus software may integrate itself into Outlook and may cause your PST file to corrupt. Please try disabling the integration, running Scanpst.exe tool and then check if this issue will come back.

If above doesn't help, we can also try creating a new mail profile and then reconfigure your email account in the new mail profile to see the result. For your convenience:

Please let me know the result.
