Renewal of SSL certificate in exchange 2007 with ISA 2006
So what I need is a procedure for the renewal of the SSL certificate for exchange 2007. But the catch is i also run a ISA server so i will need to be able to get the certificate to work with the exchange server. I just need to know how do i renew the certificate, i had the procedure about a year ago but now i lost it and i can't seem to find the solution i had used before. Can anyone help me out with the renewal of the exchange SSL certificate.

You'll have to generate a fresh CSR (Certificate Signing Request) on your Exchange CAS server. Then remove your old certificate and import the new one. The New-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet creates the private key pair and stuffs them in the Certificate Request store on the computer where you run the cmdlet. Therefore, you must run the Import-ExchangeCertificate cmdlet on the same computer to bind the private keys to the certificate. Then you export the certificate on your CAS Server, remove the old certificate in ISA and import the new one. And if you got your certificate from internal CA, you should create a new certificate: Similar post: Exchange 2007 certificate after renewal certificate outlook anywhere will work without any changes at client computer http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrdeploy/thread/5f3b189c-7196-482e-9d54-4f564a73d6ae This article is about Publishing Exchange Server 2007 with ISA Server 2006 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb794751.aspx Frank Wang TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
