I need to change several users' usernames due to marriage. I have tried to do this through EMC and users and computers, but to no avail. Neither seems to work completely. For instance, following a user rename, the old username still shows up in the OWA password change window. I have read some posts that say don't rename users, just create new accounts and then have tech support visit their workstations to help with name change. Are we unable to simply change a username in the exchange 2007 era or is there a process that can get this done without lingering problems? Thanks for any help!

I would suggest you to change the user names via CSVDE or LDIFDE. edit it by either notpead or excel (csv) attribute used cn givenName import to DC run RUS update
