Rename organization
Hi, is it with Exchange 2007 finally possible to rename the organization. We still have theorganization name on Exchange from before the merger and it shows up every now and then on internal actions (virus scanning messages for example). Is there finally a way to rename the organization ? Franc.

As far as I'm aware the answer is No.Run this command in the Exchange Management Shell:get-organizationconfig |get-member *name*It looks as if the relevant properties are read-only.My understanding is that anything you can do from Exchange 2007 you can do from the Exchange Management Shell. The set-organizationconfig cmdlet doesn't have a parameter which looks like it's intended to support renaming. My conclusion is that it's not supported. Someone may be able to give you a more definitive answer.

No, it's is not supported. The Organization name is integrated into DNs, Legacy DNs, proxy addresses, and a bunch of other things which would make it challenging to rename.
