Rename an Exchange mailstore
What is required to rename an existing mailstore on an Exchange 2003 Enterprise installation that already has mailboxes assigned to it?

You can always rename the store without any issues. Just make sure that there is no applciation or script related to it. Stop the information store service , rename it and then start the service.Raj

Yes, I agree with Raj. It workedin my lab.You can rename the store. But do not forget to restart Microsoft Exchange Information Services.Regards,Xiu
