Removing all mails with a specific message class from a mailbox
Hello! We are currently using the HP Integrated Archive Platform as our email archiving solution. As part of our evaluation of office365 we are also looking for a way to get rid of the old archiving solution. HP offers no tools to facilitate an exit of the IAP platform, there is no way to sync email back to exchange and no way to remove the stub files from the users mailboxes. However, all stub files have message class "IPM.Note.PERSISTMailItem". I was wondering if anyone knows a script or tool that will allow me to remove all messages with that specific message class from all user mailboxes? Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Michiel

Hi Micheal We are using the HP Integrated Archive Platform too. We need to remove stubs as we inevitably end up with numerous items which has its own overhead. I have got HP to set us up with an archiving rule in the miner which looks for items with the message class PERSIST and deletes the stubs accordingly in user's Outlook . Let me know if you need more details Regards Arti
