Removing SMTP domain from Metabase
I have deleted a secondary SMTP domain from my Exchange configuration as I want to use it outside my Exchange server. I removed it from the Recipient Policies, applied the policy, deleted all associated email address, and restarted the server. The domain is still listed in the IIS Metabase and when I do an nslookup it still shows my local IP as the primary IP for this domain. I am not real comfortable editing the Metabase, is there any easy way to remove the references to this domain from the Metabase? Thanks. Gary

nslookup is going to be DNS not IIS...do you just need to fix the domain in DNS?

I realize nslookup looks at the DNS, but I do not have any DNS records for this domain. The only reference I can find on my Exchange server searching for this domain is in the Metabase, so if I can delete those I suspect it will work. When I ping the domain from my Exchange server it replys with the correct address (the address I want to move it to). Thanks. Gary
