Removing First Storage Group in Exchange 2007 SP1
I want to delete a storage group that I have moved all of the users to a different storage group. I still see the Microsoft System Attendant within the database which I found by accessingExchange 2003 tools. If I delete the database will that account automatically generate in another storage group database or are there any gotchas? I found the following article but I wanted a little better confirmation. http://blogs.technet.com/evand/archive/2004/12/21/329172.aspx

Hi, the SA mailbox will be automatically recreated in a new mail box store - so just go ahead and delete the empty store. Leif

Agree with Leif, I deleted it many times, SA moves automatically to another available database and doesn't create any gotchas....

Are any services required to be restarted after the deletion of the first SG for it to be recreated on another storage group?Paul
