Removing Exchange server from console
I had a previous Exchange admin that added an Exchange 2010 server in the console that is no longer online any longer and worse yet they never registered the key for it so every time I open the Exchange management console I get a popup window telling me this. How do I go about removing a server that is no longer online from the console?

I don't know what you mean about "added an Exchange 2010 server in the console." Would you please elaborate?Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

He set up more than one Exchange server on the network originally apparently as the phantom Exchange server still appears under server configuration even though it does not exist on the network any longer.

So you are saying that using ADSI Edit is supported as a last resort? I have been told that it is not supported at all.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."
