Removeing the last 2003 Exchange Server
When I disconnect the last Exchange 2003 server frommy network and have only a new Exchange 2007 server online, everything appears to work except the outlook clients receive an error when seding/receiving that says the "Microsoft Exchange Server reported error (0x8004010F): The operation failed. An object could not be found." I looked up the error and it appears to be related to the OAB. I moved the offline address book generation from the old 2003 server to the new 2007 server but continue to get the error. When I connect in the old 2003 server the error goes away and everything appears to be good. How do I fix this error so I can completly remove the 2003 Exchange server? Thanks

you have to replicate all public folders from the old server to the new on, that incl. the system folders (Free/Busy, OAB etc) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288905(EXCHG.80).aspx

Mine is not resolved. I don't want to remove the Exchange 2007 yet, I just want to be able to download the OAB from Exchagne 2010.I have checked as above in ADSIEdit and the distinguised name looks OK CN=Smalldom 2010 OAB,CN=Offline Address Lists,CN=Address Lists Container,CN=SmallOrg,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=smalldom,DC=priHowever I have two administrative groups which I don't really want as this is a single server test environment. And of course as this is Exchange 2010 there are no storage groups.I have tried a full download. It does not work in OA. Carol
