Remove public folders to uninstall exchange 2007
Hello, I transitioned to exchange 2010. Now I want to remove Exchange 2007 but when doing so it throws me an error: Error: Uninstall cannot continue. Database 'PublicFolder'. The public folder database contains folder replicas. Before deleting the public folder database, remove the folders or move the replicas to another public folder database. I tried following this link: http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/07/09/445967.aspx but when I go with: .\MoveAllReplicas.ps1 -Server OldServer -NewServer MyNewServer it throws me the following error: Set-PublicFolder: The parameter "Replicas" cannot be $null or an empty array. At ReplaceReplicaOnPFRecursive.ps1:147 char 24 So I'm stucked there. Can anyone help?

Hello, after pulling my hair up a bit, I managed to move my public folder replicas to my new server. Except one!! A system public folder under: SCHEDULE FREE+BUSY is not moving at all. It says that the last access was this morning (evening here now) and it has 15 int the items count field (according to get-publicfolderstatistics -server ex07server ) According to the link I previously posted, I should wait until I get nothing from the get-publicfolderstatistics command. I will see what happens tomorrow. If you have any clue let me know. john3D

Hello, after 1 day, all the system public folders were replicated to the new server. However, when removing the public folder database I got an error saying something like: You cannot remove this object as it was created for a newer version of Exchange. I then had to remove it from the new server command shell: Remove-PublicFolderDatabase -Identity "<SERVER NAME>\First Storage Group\Public Folder Database" That worked. Finally exchange 2007 is gone. Thank you all.
