Remove a Database that is part of a DAG
Hi, We recently upgraded our Exchange environment to a 2010 from a 2003. We have a 3 Server DAG with 2 servers running at our main office, and one running at our DR office. We are looking to removing a database (largedb) from a DAG since we were getting lots of problems clearing the logs even after daily backups. We moved all mailboxes to a new database and would like to get rid of that damaged database. my question is what is the correct way to remove the database and be able to recover that hard drive space from all 3 servers. The current state of the database is as follows DATABASENAME MAILBOXSERVER IS ACTIVE COPY STATUS COPY QUEUE Lenght REPLAY QUEUE LENGTH ACTIVATION PREFERENCE Largedatabase Server1 TRUE MOUNTED 0 0 1 Largedatabase Server2 FALSE HEALTHY 0 1 2 Largedatabase Server3 FALSE SUSPENDED 234563 1 3

Remove a Mailbox Database Copy See the link on how to remove the copies and then the last copy. After that, delete the files on disk on all the servers including transaction logs.
