Remove Unlicense Exchange 2010
Hi, i have 4 exchange 2010 servers in my AD, i install a evaluation exchange 2010, but i have to format mi server and i didn´t remove exchange evaluation, This is my problem, this server is still show me in Exchange Management Console, the evaluation server haved mailbox role, and only show 1 mailbox; so how can i remove?. I have search some stuff about this and only find that i have to erase server from ADSIedit and replicate, but i don´t sure about this, can anyone help me, Thanks In Advance

If you have already removed the server from the hardware.. than you need to check the Adsiedit.msc and if you see the server object than you can remove it from Adsiedit.msc Check the Control Panel if you see the Exchange Tool, try to remove it and post the result.. The only supported way to remove Exchange is to use the built-in tools ( Add/Remove Programs) If you want to remove it in a supported way, reinstall Exchange with recoverserver: ( I assume the original configuration in AD is intact and Exchange is no longer installed on the original server) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd876880.aspx

Hi, If you don't have any operation, you can follow the below. The best way of uninstalling Exchange 2010 is from Control Panel->Add/Remove a program. But before uninstalling it, you should make a full backup and remove mailboxes to other Exchange servers. Then you can uninstall database on Exchange 2010. For removing the public folder database, you can refer to the article Remove Public Folder Database. Hope this helps.
