Remove Exchange 2010 Server
Hi, We have a mixed Exchange 2007 and 2003 environment. We installed a Exchange 2010 server into our organization for testing but have decided not to go ahead and use it. Can it just be uninstalled from the orginization without causing any issues to the 2007/2003 servers? Thanks

Thanks Hi, if you do not make roles of Exchange 2010 as primary of your organization (e.g. primary CAS, primary HUB server etc.) and you do not have mailboxes there so you can remove it from your organization without worry. Peter is right. If you have not make roles of Exchange 2010 as primary of your organization, remove Exchange 2010 will not cause any issues to the 2007/2003 servers. When you try to remove Exchange 2010, here is a related document for you: Modify or Remove Exchange 2010 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee332361.aspx Thanks, Evan Liu TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com Evan Liu TechNet Community Support
