Go through AD preparetopology again and groups inkl permissions will be created. /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions, /pl Prepares the permissions in a legacy forest.Use this parameter only if you have Exchange 2000 or 2003 servers in your organization./PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions:<domain FQDN>, /pl:<domain FQDN> Prepares the permissions for the specified domain./PrepareAD, /p Prepares the Active Directory forest for the Exchange installation. This will perform all the operations listed below in the local domain./PrepareSchema, /ps Prepares the Active Directory Schema for the Exchange installation./PrepareDomain, /pd Prepares the local domain for the Exchange installation./PrepareDomain:<domain FQDN>, /pd:<domain FQDN> Prepares the specified domain for the Exchange installation./PrepareAllDomains, /pad Prepares all domains in the forest for the Exchange installation. Then you can use the recoverserver switch to recover your server. if you dont want to recoverr your server use the recoverserver switch anyway and finally uninstall Exchange

Check the value of below registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\v8.0\<ServerRole>\Action If it has any values then take the backup of below registry path. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\v8.0\ Delete the value of Action registry key for all server roles and then prepare schema/AD. You may refer below article, which is for different problem but when any installation fails it keeps the registry with some value (like install) so when you do next installation it fails with previous installation error. When you try to install Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 on an Exchange Server 2007-based computer, Setup fails
