Hello,

I have noticed the update version released by Microsoft for Office click to run changes within same month. As the earlier update that was released  on Tuesday 11th August'15 was 15.0.4745.1001, however now  we can see another modified version available for the same August month is 15.0.4745.1002.

As we had already planned and tested the August update (15.0.4745.1001) and was going to deployed the same in our organisation but now we could see newer version (15.0.4745.1002) released.

Can you please help in understanding the Office click-to-run updates released by Microsoft for a month and suggest the if its okay to proceed with our earlier planning(i.e. 15.0.4745.1001)? or shall we again test the newly released 15.0.4745.1002.

Is there any major difference between any two updates released in the same month?

I'm sure this will clear the doubts of most of the IT guys.

Hi Akshay,

As far as I know, 15.0.4745.1002 is the latest version of Office update. I suppose 15.0.4745.1001 just a transitional version of Office update, maybe Microsoft developers found some problems when release 15.0.4745.1001.
