Redirecting Exchange 2013 Logs
I have been moving the exchange logs on a separate disk. Problem with moving to a network drive was solved using "mklink". However, there are 2 questions: 1) What rights should be granted to a network resource that exchange could save logs to. So far succeeded only adding "domain\exchange-srv$" in the local administrators group on the server where the network share located. 2) With just a few commands such as "set-transportservice" etc i've moved only part of the logs. Also editing the config files in the folder "bin" has helped in redirecting another part of the logs. So there is a question about the rest of what was left in the logging folder. Is there anywhere a complete guide on all possible exchange logs? Thanks in advance.

Hello, To see what permissions you need, see the "Mailbox databases" entry in the Recipients Permissions topic. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd638132(v=exchg.150).aspx Move-DatabasePath http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124742(v=exchg.150).aspx Thanks,Simon Wu TechNet Community Support

Thanks for the answer. But I didn't ask about database and database logs. i'm interesting about logs that exchange generates like files in "%ExchangeDir%/v15/logging" and "%ExchangeDir%/v15/TransportRoles/Logs"
