Recycling settings for Application pools in Exchange 2007 Cas server
Hi, We have a few Exchange 2007 HubCas servers but there is nothing set for the recycling of the application pools. Can anyone tell me what are recommended settings for recycling of each of the application pools?

I only have E2010 in front of me right now, but I have found that most things are the same as they were in E2007. None of my Exchange app pools have anything configured for recycling, either, and I am sure that the settings have not been changed.Outlook Web Access For PDA , OWA For WAP www.owa-pda.com email a@t leederbyshire d.0.t c.0.m

Verified as well, no recycling configured. I haven't heard of any guidance or anyone having to muck with the default settings.James Chong MCITP | EA | EMA; MCSE | M+, S+ Security+, Project+, ITIL msexchangetips.blogspot.com

I asked that because one of our hub cas servers was out of virtual memory. When checked, it was one of app pools eating the VM. Recycling of the app pool released the VM.

Hi Exchange 2007 doesn’t offer this function. But some coders of msdn try to achieve this function by powershell of windows 2008. Maybe you can go to there . Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
