I am trying to recover some mailboxes from a RSG that we arealdy restored. I am running the command below but it keeps telling me the database does not exist. I have tried evey combonation for the database and am still not able to get this to start. What am I supposed to put for the database. >Restore-Mailbox -Identity 'bprsg' -RSGDatabase 'SG1\recovery storeage group' -RSGMailbox 'exams' -TargetFolder 'recovery'

if the RSG database is up running, get-mailboxdatase to verify this. you can use Exmerge as we did on Exchange 2003.

Did you create and mount the recovery database? Follow these procedures: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997694(EXCHG.80).aspx Santhosh Sivarajan | MCTS, MCSE (W2K3/W2K/NT4), MCSA (W2K3/W2K/MSG), CCNA, Network+ Houston, TX http://blogs.sivarajan.com/ http://publications.sivarajan.com/ This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

The issue is not with the RSG. It is online and the data has already been restored to it and it is mounted. The issue is I can't figure out what the Database path should be for the command above.

Hello, You mean the data is already restore, but still received the error? Could you please paste the complete error here? If you mean the RSGdatabase parameters format, you could use the following values: -GUID of the database -Database name -Server name\database name -Server name\storage group\database name http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125218(EXCHG.80).aspx Hope this helps. Thanks, Elvis
