I'm trying to recover a folder with some critical data that was damaged or corrupted, likely by a virus. Its a 10GB folder that contains Word, Excel, and PDF documents. None will open, and each report that the format of the file is invalid and/or does not match the extension.

I tried free file repair tools online with no luck. I'm looking for the best tools or services, free or fee-based, that will give me the best chance of recovering at least some of this data.

Error messages for each file type are attached, though Excel docs just don't return anything.

First, I'd recommend you update your antivirus and run the virus scan task. If the issue is caused by a virus, we need to make sure it won't cause more losses.
