You just need moredisk space to store them, and a longer time to backup (and potentiallyrestore) the databases that hold them.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP--- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

I would cross question here, what's the reason behind this question? Answer depends on it. BTW, mailbox size doesn't matter. Most important is number of items in a mailbox folder and server performance depend on it. Recommended Mailbox Size Limits http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2005/03/14/395229.aspx But again, Outlook SP1 with Feb cumulative update or SP2 has a magical technique to havelarger mailboxes in cache mode and can have 50,000 items in a mailbox folder against older recommended limit of 2500-5000 items. OST Sizing Guidance Changes http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2009/03/24/450881.aspx But yes, if you are asking about recommended database size limit in Exchange 2007 then it is 100GB for any non-continuousreplicateddatabase, while 200GB for database which has any kind ofcontinuousreplication (CCR, SCR or LCR) this would help you to save recovery time...
