Recived multiple mail copy from exchange 2007
I am using small business server 2008. some time received multiple mail in user account. Please help me.

Issue description: User will receive duplicate mails occasionally Check info: 1. Please describe the topology, is it a single SBS 2008 server? 2. The issue wasnt permanent for user, right? 3. Please tell the affected scope, only some users or all users? 4. Which client protocol do users use, MAPI, POP3 or IMAP4? 5. Which type of item has always been duplicated, calendar, message or receipt? 6. Does problematic user use mobile device? Troubleshooting: 1. Please use Messaging Tracking tool to narrow down the cause a. EMC->Toolbox-> Messaging Tracking b. Choose RECEIVE and SEND to track the mail 2. Increase eventlog level to get more detailed info for analysis, see what you can get in the application log after reproduce the issue a. Go to EMS b. Check current logging level: get-eventLogLevel c. Increase level for Transport Service: get-EventLogLevel MSExchangeTransport |set-eventLog -Level High 3. Set protocol logging to record SMTP mail flow for analysis a. Go to Hub->EMC->Organization Configuration->Hub Transport b. Send Connectors->right-click Default-First-Site-Name to Internet->choose Properties c. In the General tab->change Protocol logging level to verbose->OK d.
