Receiving Emails with wrong time stamp.
We have a w2k3 domain and 2 exchange servers one is 2k3 and a 2k7 with a hubcas server for 2k7. They are all located in the same server rack. The times are the same on all of the servers and desktops. We had an outside company send an email that showed up in our inbox 3 hours later. When we checked the exchange tracking it said that it received and processed the email 3 hours earlier. help

Hi there, Is it show up 3 hours later in "Received" column in Inbox? If you open the problematic message, does it show up correctly in "Sent" field? Please copy and past the messge head here. Besides, can you always reproduce this issue with the specific outside account? Thanks. Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support

When that happens the Outlook client isn't receiving the notifications that there is unread mail in the folder. Or, you could be working in cached mode and Outlook isn't synchronizing the mailbox contents with the OST file. It may be a damaged OST file or Outlook many not be connected to the mailbox. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

We checked and he isn't in cached mode and his outlook is online. How can we test to see if we are having a problem with udp packets on our lan?

You can install a network monitor on the client machine and watch for UDP packets from the IP address of the mailbox server. If the "unread" count on the folder doesn't increase you can click another folder and then click the original folder. If the count changes you can be pretty sure you're not getting the UDP packets. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

I don't think UDP packets delay may affect the displaying of Reveive time which should reflect the receiving time of Exchange srver. I'd still suggest verify the messge head. Just to isolate the fault, please check in OWA to see if receive time has the same problem. Thanks. Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support
