Receiving 10 repeat emails for same message.
When a user creates a question on a sharepoint discussion board, I get (as admin and set to receive them) about 10 sent to me at the same time. Help appreciated. Many thanks for your time.

Check Message tracking. Is the message actually being sent 10 times from Sharepoint? If so, then the issue is on the Sharepoint side.

Another quick check is to view the Internet Header for the messages: unless they have the same Message-ID they are being received as separate messages by Exchange and are being spewed by whoever or whatever is sending, whether it is SharePoint or anything else.TBrennan

I did message tracking in Exchange and found some message Ids: <3BD50098E401463AA228377848493927-{3D444CD2-4EFA-45D6-96DD-E77B6EBE7FC0}@audor.local> <3BD50098E401463AA228377848493927-{336BD093-B610-4D55-ACAD-36502DE425AA}@audor.local> The sender is CompanyWebAdmin. I have not configured this account! I have looked at the Sharepoint 3.0 Central Admin (which on this SBS 2008 is the default settings) but see nothing which may give a clue. Suggestions welcome. Many thanks for your time.

Hi, Since we only discuss the Exchange issue on the pure Exchange product environment in this forum, I suggest you create a new thread in the SBS forum. Please understand that SBS Server has integrated all functionalities on a single box which will require the SBS related knowledge which we do not have enough resource. Thank you for your understanding. For your reference, I have enclosed the SBS forum link below: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/smallbusinessserver/threads Thanks, Novak Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
